BC Marine Trails is the only organization advocating for public access to recreation on the BC coast — we are steadfast in our commitment to this endeavor. Your donations enable us to do critical BC coastal work in First Nations engagement, stewardship, conservation, and trails development.

As a community-based nonprofit charity, the BC Marine Trails is sustained by the generous individuals, families, and businesses whose commitment as donors supports our mission. Donations are an important part of our organization’s success making up 20% of our funding. Memberships cover approximately 20% and the balance comes from grants and sponsorships.

We rely on a community of people who give to the association in the way that works best for them. Our community work is also heavily supported through in-kind volunteer hours.
