Terminal access:

Enter side gate near ticket kiosk with access code provided. Very awkward tight turns, curbs, fencing especially for tandem kayak on wheels. Follow narrow pathway with sharp right turn to foot of lower loading ramp. Same as for bicycles.

Terminal egress:

Reverse of access  except no code required to exit gate. Can be busy and congested.

Associated launch site:

Horseshoe Bay Park.

Logistics:

Ferry fee: Same as foot passengers with bicycles ($2 each way, 2017 prices). Show your boarding pass at the vessel ramp entrance.

Parking: Long-term pay parking at south end of Keith Road. $16 for 24 hours (2017 prices). Cheaper options available but more distant.

Distances: From nearest long-term parking to kayak drop-off: 270m. From beach to dock: 350m or more. From kayak drop-off to ferry deck: 280m.
