ANNOUNCING A BC MARINE TRAILS’ ‘LEAVE NO TRACE’ AWARENESS WORKSHOP

When:  10.30am – 1pm, March 24, 2017

Where: Beban Park Room 3

This is an introduction to Leave no Trace principles as they apply in the BC Marine Trails environment. A working knowledge of LNT principles is the basics needed for effective stewardship.  As such, the BCMTNA’s Stewardship Committee is offering this workshop at no charge for interested potential stewardship volunteers.

On April 8, 2017, we will be having a General Meeting and a group breakout covering two topic. . Our General Meeting will last approximately 75 minutes and then we will break for lunch (provided). We will begin the afternoon with a presentation from John Kimantas on the Salish Sea Marine Trail and a brief overview of next major trail initiative. Following the presentations we will have two breakout groups covering a couple of important topics (to be announced in later March). Please find the agenda here.
