Landing Comments:
All tide sand beach in cove is partly protected but might get also surf. Some drift logs. Concealed entries E or N of islet. Expect surf at cove entrance. Hazardous at some water levels, wind, sea conditions. Suitable for calm conditions only.
Camp Comments:
Sheltered, undeveloped. Camp on beach or at edge of forest – many alders. Reported as pleasant. Soem groups might prefer NW corner to avoid wind or surf.
Other Comments:
Can walk to Burnett Bay for water, but trail reported overgrown so unreliable. Staging for Cape Caution. Camping also reported in Silvester Bay. Possible seasonal stream mentioned by one reporter.
