Landing Comments:
Easy at all water levels on moderate gradient beach of gravel, shell, some 40-200 mm barnacled rocks S of sawmill ruins. Prominent derelict dock visible (2021). Beach floods at at water levels above 4.8 m. Carry boats up to trail. Currents to N of site.
Camp Comments:
Short paths to upland. Choose steep one or awkward side hill with erosion issues. Picnic shelter, table. Sites on midden bank, in grassy area clearing behind ruined dock. Potential additional sites if brushed. Hammock opportunities.
Other Comments:
Attractive. View. Water at small seasonal creek. Village site prior to sawmill site. Possible site for 1 tent in Windy Bay to S. Used occasionally by large commercial groups.
