Landing Comments:
Low gradient sand beach. Easier landing S of river mouth. Expect surf at low water or when swell exceeds 1 m.
Camp Comments:
Upland sites N of river mouth. Also beach camping. Spit at river mouth may be used as campsite. 2 unenclosed pit toilets. Food caches. Camping fees apply 1 May to 30 September. May pre-pay permit via Internet, but no reservable sites. Fee $5.00 per person per night (2018) via BC Parks Backcountry Registration System.
Other Comments:
Attractive. Water at river upstream. Macjack River navigable for some distance. Hiking trail 2.5 km to industrial road. See: Raft Cove Provincial Park.
