Landing Comments:
Easy on protected pebble moderate gradient beach with WSW aspect. Other beaches suitable depending on wind, swell direction. SW side normally preferred. NW cove gravel, cobble, some boulders, SE cove cobble with many drift logs. Other pebble beaches may also be suitable.
Camp Comments:
BC Parks are considering a request for a low impact paddle-in campsite. The Snaw Naw As FN are to be consulted. The outcome of this is not known (2018) hence Day Use only suggested. Sites on upper beach pebble berm, level upland areas may require brushing. No facilities or services.
Other Comments:
Invasive English Ivy grows on parts of island, damaging natural vegetation. Some rare plants. Attractive. Park created 2013. Management plan not yet prepared (2019). Area 12 ha. Cache location: 49.310100°N; 124.162560°W See: Gerald Island Provincial Park .
