Moderate gradient beach of angular broken rock to cobble size, occasional boulders. S aspect. Protected from most directions except SW, S, SE. Many drift logs. Preferred landing beach lies on W side of rocky promontory in longer small cove known as Cliff Cove. Outer bay known as Sled Bay.

Camp Comments:

Potential sites for approx. 4 tents in sloping vegetated upland above Cliff Cove. Requires work, e.g. levelling or platforms. Hammock opportunities. Damp.

Other Comments:

Small seasonal stream through site. Year-round water at large pond at about 1.5 km. Sled Bay, Cliff Cove portions joined by inland hiking trail that connects with Simson Park trail network but no beach connection on foot. Steel logging sled relic near E beach in trail. See Simson Provincial Park.
