Easy on low gradient sand, mud beach. Much soft mud at low water. Vessel traffic. Subject to gap winds SE, NW. Currents in Sansum Barrows.

Road with limited parking at 500 m or closer.depending on landing location chosen. Extensive marked hiking trails. Popular anchorage. Birding. See: Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park
