Landing Comments:
Easy on firm mud with some sand in protected cove. To avoid drying mudflats, time landings for high water.
Camp Comments:
Dispersed camping permitted on roomy, grassy site. 2 semi-developed sites, one near beach SE of orchard, one near orchard, homestead. Possible overflow sites nearby. Pit toilet. Camping fees apply 15 May to 15 September. May pre-pay permit via Internet, but no reservable sites. Fee $5.00 per person per night (2022) via BC Parks Backcountry Registration System .

Codfish Bay is a good alternative when the tide is low. It has a steep gravel approach and is usable at most tide levels. There are some decent camping possibilities on the rock shelves and in the forested upland, but may be some traffic past your tent if you choose the latter.
