Easy on moderate gradient cobble, pebble beach in narrow cove. Many drift logs. SE aspect. Exposed to SE. Well protected from other directions. Logs, flotsam awkward at high water. Larger mud beach to S of cove.
Camp Comments:
Undeveloped campsite in grassy upland with plenty of space. Minor rustic furniture. No fires permitted but sign no longer present (2022). Pit toilet planned in 1987 but not yet installed (2022). Hammock opportunities nearby.
Other Comments:
Attractive. Water at lake 200 m NW. Extensive hiking trails, some muddy. White park sign to N on low cliff near cove entrance. See Simson Provincial Park . Possible anchorage.
