Landing Comments:

Low gradient beach of mud, 50 – 70 mm rocks leading to grassy estuary wetland. Might be island.

Camp Comments:

Clearing under trees for several tents at wetland margin. More sites feasible with brushing. Coordinates given as N50D 26.026M,W124D 40.408M

Other Comments:

Water at river. Salmon Bay Indian Reserve lies immediately W. N Frazer suggests camping 150 m S near the breakwater by the log dump. It at W end of beach to E of breakwater. Comment that carry over mud is too far at this side and easier by jetty, on NE corner but in IR.

This area is known to be frequented by grizzly bears. The nearby Klahoose Wilderness Resort takes people here for grizzly viewing.
