Snug Cove Ferry Terminal

No vote

Snug Cove may be a useful way for kayakers to reach Bowen Island for local or Howe Sound area paddling trips while avoiding vehicle congestion. Those exiting have a choice of launching directly from the adjacent public dock or walking the kayak to the nearby beach within Crippen Regional Park.

Terminal access:

Enter as for foot passengers and bicycles. Assemble at head of loading ramp.

Terminal egress:

Reverse of access.

Associated launch site:

Crippen Regional Park.

Logistics:

Ferry fee: All journeys are considered to be prepaid if traveling to Horseshoe Bay. Passenger count taken at entry gate. No boarding pass issued.

Parking: Unlikely to be needed as this is a launch destination for walk-on kayaks.

Distances: From Snug Cove Kwíl’aḵm beach to dock: 330m.
