September 27 @ 8:00 am - September 30 @ 5:00 pm
Are you seeking an adventure that’s both fun and rewarding? Join us from September 27-30 for an unforgettable experience! We’re on a mission to combat invasive English Ivy at Gerald Island, just a short paddle away from Nanoose Bay, and we need your help.
Whether you’re a returning volunteer or new to the cause, your participation is invaluable. Together, we can make a significant impact on our coastal ecosystem. Sign up now to be part of a passionate team dedicated to restoring the natural beauty of Gerald Island. Join us for a day, two, or the entire trip — every effort counts!
As of our last ivy pull in April 2024, our volunteers have successfully pushed back the ivy line by 75 meters, bringing us closer to restoring Gerald Island to its native state. This progress is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our amazing volunteer team.
Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to an important environmental cause while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and community of fellow volunteers. Register now and become part of this vital effort to protect and preserve Gerald Island’s unique ecosystem! If you have any questions or don’t receive a confirmation email, please contact us.
